The building a few down from us called this morning to say that their drains were blocked and would we like to help out with the cost of sorting it as we are on the same drain run.
Anyway Dynorod or some other company are now outside my office window probing about in a manhole.
A bloke is pulling a big rod thing with one hand and eating a sandwich with the other and he isnt even wearing gloves

For years I had the job of emptying the tripes (stomachs) on newly slaughtered cattle. Great job in the winter because it kept your hands lovely and warm. Downside was it stained your hands greeny yellow. For years when eating a sandwich, I used to throw the last bit away (the bit I was holding) as a force of habit.

The immune system is a wonderful thing, strange how people seem to forget they have one these days ![]()
Since even if he was wearing gloves the shit and the sandwich would both be on the outside of the gloves, how would the gloves make any difference?
I think he meant that the bloke could have worn gloves while blasting and then taken them off and eaten the sandwich

Bloke has finished sandwich however and is now enjoying a post rodding cigarette.
Bloody hell was he doing that whilst eating and working as well
My great aunt, up until a few years ago, used to run a tripe shop.
One of the great yorkshire delicacys
Strangely nice actually. She also used to sell pig knuckles there, but they looked truly horrible!
i deal with Cess pit tanker drivers nearly every day of the week!! Some of them are animals, alot of them wont think twice about grabbing a quick snack inbetween emptying a tankand unloading it off at the sewage works!! i have also seen one get covered head to toe in s**t and be more worried about helping us hose the area down rather than having a shower and getting changed!!
