Is there a way to get car history from dealer network?

Hi,

Does anyone know whether the dealer network will provide details of a cars service history (confirm whether recall work has been done, clutch parts upgraded when last changes etc - as well as confirming the service history) for a car being sold privately?

Will main dealers do a pre-purchase inspection for a private buyer?

yes they will.

If you know where the car was serviced just phone them up.You will need the chassis number.

If you dont start at Maranello - who do the pre delivery on all uk cars and they will tell you where the car went from there (ie sold from new).

Nope down in Essex.

I bought a 360 last december so hope I can answer a what you need to know.

I have found dealers quite helpful with this, but obviously there is no obligation, and it might help if you indicate you would be interested in continuing to service the car with them.
