Rolling Stones tickets

I am gobsmacked....£150 for tier seats plus...are sitting down?
£12 per ticket booking fee
£65 obligatory fanclub membership
£4.95 for special delivery
Total cost: £393.95 for two tickets. That is taking the Mick.
If you have an American Express card then you don't have to pay the £65 membership.
I think I might decide not to go and put the money into MY pension fund instead.

I haven't checked this, but isn't the idea if you *want* to beat the rush then you pay by Amex? And if you can wait till a slightly-later date then it's a free for all on tickets?
And now I've looked, you get a "FREE ROLLING STONES VIRTUAL TICKET FAN CLUB MEMBERSHIP INCLUDED" from TicketMaster www.ticketmaster.co.uk/event/22003B790DB355DD?artistid=806216&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1
I have to agree though, this bollox about being forced to use a particular payment method to get tickets is a nonsense. I found the same when looking for World Cup tickets - you can only use Mastercard (through the official channels anyway)
