Anybody used the ACT trackday silencers? I need to get my noise meter out at the weekend, but my car was registering 108 dB when it had the cats in. Now I've got the balanced cat replacement pipe, so I suspect it will be even louder (unless the sound has transitioned to a part of the frequency range where the meter is less sensitive). Need to get the noise level within Bedford Autodrome's limits -- 101 dB(A) static (should be no problem) and 87 dB(A) driveby at 20m. Anyone succesfully taken a decatted and sports exhaust-ed Cerb around Bedford?

We have used ours at a couple of sprint events... our "quiet" sports exhaust makes approx 106db at around 3000rpm, with the ACT silencers its 96db.

The drive by sounds a little harder to beat though!!

Thinking about it, if your car was at Trackcarsolutions a week or so back, your Cerb may have been the very car we heard with linked decats (ours is the scruffy blue one there!) Dads still not keen on the idea of them though (MOT/Sprints)

Indeed it was. I saw the scruffy blue one when I collected on Saturday.

I also have a set unused in the garage, give me a mail if you need to use them.

Gives it a nice "motorsport" look. Im glad you chose to stay with t'Cerb and leave the prancing pony stuff alone - lovely cars, but £££££'s!!
