These guys are very good if you want to experience what happens when your / the car's limits are exceeded. I did a day at North Weald with my Wedge, a Griff. 500, an S2000 and an Elise. Going backwards at 60mph with the open cabin filling with tyre smoke is certainly interesting.

Well some of the more repetative type excercises can certainly heat the front tyres up considerably, leading to a lot of shoulder wear unless you are careful. The only other problem I had was grinding away the lower o/s edge of the under spoiler in a fast left turn. One interesting thing was thrown up though: there was a braking excercise, slightly downhill, in the damp, the idea being that you approach a marker at a fixed speed, and then attempt to stop in the shortest distance. The Elise was hopeless at this, even the Wedge beat it by a decent margin - must have been something to do with the weight distribution.
