Ad says the car is a 4.0 - wasn't aware they put the Chim/Griff lump in there - 4.5?
Since 1999 ish the 4.0 ltr (and 3.6ltr) engines have gradually become the only engines that TVR have put in new cars.
Doh! Didn't realise it was a speed six ... is that why it's a good price?

Speed sixes are a little cheaper albeit many owners and mags reckon they are the best cerb (certainly for every day use).
There are so many more options re S6 engine work that I would now give a S6 a try.
Then you read a number of knowledgeable peoples opinions in the T350/Sag forums that seem to indicate the approximate mileage one can expect between rebuilds...

Don't start that c*ap again, for crying out loud. A Speed 6 with a 2004/5 engine is good for how many miles? Nobody knows, so take that wooden spoon and put it away (13,000 miles this year alone on a Speed 6 and found it a great engine, certainly better everyday than the 4.2AJP I owned previously)!
Nervy - absolutely fabulous looking Cerb. It's a shame you've got to sell it, but I suppose the Porsche will numb the pain!!

Cause or Effect ?
Am I just too obtuse or are you telling us that you have been proven not to be the father of a child by a DNA test ??
yes, i am telling you that. it was a couple of months ago now, but its still not a very nice feeling. in short, its been a horrible year and id like to have a new start if possible. and this is one of things i need to do to help that happen. i know it sounds silly, but it makes sense inside my head.
as it happens, the cerb is a much nicer drive, place to be, thing to hear, thing to look at, thing to own than the Porsche, but every time i get in it i think of the daughter i no longer have and as hard as Ive tried its not going away. so, my thinking is, if its not helping i have to change.
sorry to go on. thanks again for all your kind words gang

Completely understandable, nice to hear such kind words said about the Cerbera from a Porsche owner, shame you'll probably not be back for another later in life though. Sorry to hear what you have been through, I doubt I could deal with the same and retain such good humour (or even sanity) as you have demonstrated on here throughout.
All the best with the future nervous, good luck one again with the sale...
