I've got quite a few video's on my hard drive, mainly mpeg's and a few wav's. When I transfer the clips to my iPaq, it really suffers from slow frame rates and it looks crap. I forgot about it, but recently, with the purchase of a PSP, I've started thinking about it again.

Now, I'd want to be able to put a video onto my 1G memory stick for the PSP, but I fear the same thing will happen. Can you get a conversion program that'll make the film play on my PSP and will it also convert a film to play on the iPaq?

Hope this makes sense.

I just want to watch a few clips on my PSP and my iPaq. Converting a DVD film to a playable file would be nice too.

Windows Media Encoder is good for that sort of thing.

There are some step by step guides out there for conversion of films to the correct format etc for the PSP - will post a link when I get home. You can compress a complete DVD movie to about 250MB so you can get a couple on a 1GB card. Looks great too...
