Just phoned my insurer AON (only pay £525 PA for a 993TT) to arrange track day cover only to be told that it is now free (well, first 5 track days) are free!

I was previoulsy paying £100 a pop with Classic line.

See you on the 17th

That's great news Alan

I'll be giving them a call when I renew as I'm finally putting my car on a limited mileage policy and previosuly AON have not been interested in my business for unlimited mileage

Do they 'adjust' the excess for trackdays though?

Excess is 10% of vehicle value

ANY event that is properly organised. RMA, Easytrack, Goldtrack etc.

Brilliant

How flexible are they on mods - I am currently looking at a stripped out 944 for track days, with a cage, fire kits etc

Anyone recomend a company who is sympathetic to such things

And at an MSA approved track.

But you must notify them of the track, date and organiser to get the cover.

S'good deal!!

James,

try Chris Wilkins @ Bickley Insurance 020 8770 8123 (you may need to check the number on google...). Insured my 964RS with full cage through him with Norwich Union. A lot of the Titannic guys (GT3s) are with NU through Chris. Also have my extremely modded 205 with NU - all mods disclosed.

Bickley only give you 6-ish track days a year now. Not good.
