Does anybody know of a decent reasonably priced architect in Kent? (I am in Maidstone). Even a one man band is fine. I would prefer to go to somebody who is recommended.

Basically I am looking at doing an extension on my house. I have some rough drawings so I have a good idea what I want. I just want somebody to do proper drawings and advise what will and wont get though planning.

If anybody can help that would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Alex

Hi Alex,
I'm not a qualified architect, but CAD drawings and planning applications for commercial properties are my thing. One of my guys has done a lot of work for domestic extensions, so I'm sure we can help.

I'm based down the road in Orpington, so if you fancy discussing things over a beer let me know.

Cheers,

Iain

Hi Alex,

My brother is an Architect in training (works at an architects for the past number of years), currently studying architecture at Uni, and is just doing 2 private jobs. He's young at 20 but knows his stuff.

He's currently just doing my cousins loft conversion which has been passed, and getting planning permission for an old garage site to be converted into upto 10 properties (some apartments), these both seem to be going well.

He loves his work so I'm sure he maybe interested as he's always looking out for extra work, I can have a word if you like?

Cheers,
James
