Is this any good? Will it do for the 2004 CV8? Dare I say it, is it as good as the Essential pac offered by Wortec/Monkfish? www.usa.superchips.co.uk/benefits.php?product=2725

In a word: No.

Main reason been, that it is a chip that is designed to fit all cars (ls1) and is no doubt very conservative. I personally don't believe you will get as much power as you would with say a wortec tune.

I know of 2 brand new engines with chipped ecu's which made no more power then stock on an engine dyno.
