Monday the other half buys ticket online Wycombe to Nottingham day return via Birmingham. Close to £60, plus £5 for next day delivery of the tickets (no e-tickets then I guess).

This morning comes around and no tickets. Lots of calls, lots of tranferring and she always ends up at some person in Bangalore reading a script. Couldn't even get them to tell Wycombe to print a ticket for her etc. Need to apply for refund online blah blah.

She just called me from the train, she bought another ticket at the station for £38 - they wouldn't accept her printed receipt from the website etc.

So you pay more. The tickets don't even arrive. You can't speak to a human who knows whats going on. Why ever bother using the website?

I'll tell her. Thing is, Wycombe station had a major fire last week and the ticket office is in a portacabin at the moment (mind you I guess they could have printed the tickets for her).
