To all Australians interested in getting an Ultima kit.

I was just doing a bit of research and have come across this on the department of transport web sit. If your interested have a read it might give you an idea of what’s required. Also as this is a working document / proposal it might be possible to influence the outcome. It would be good if we could get some of the requirements relaxed a bit

Is a black, wingless can-am too much to ask for??

That is great news. especially the ADR37/00 rule on emissions. It means that instead of having to fit a ADR79/00 engine we can use a SB v8 as long as it passes the IM240 test.
A much better arrangement.
I hope that I am reading that right, what is your take on it?
I was going to add a comment to DOTAR but I noticed that the public comments end date was on the 9 Dec 05.
This might actually mean that getting an Ultima on the road in Australia will be possible again.
