Conservative leader David Cameron is trying to underline his green credentials by setting up a policy group on the environment.

Just hot air isn't it? Is he just brown nosing some of his potential electorate?

Mr Cameron said he believed in "green growth", arguing that environmentally-friendly measures did not have to stifle the economy.

"We don't want people to go and live like monks," he said.

He suggested using more biofuels was one way of reducing pollution from cars.

Mr Cameron also wants a new independent carbon audit office to measure progress on meeting the target of cutting carbon emissions by 60% by 2050.

Sounds like more bearo... buro... Red Tape, to me. And a black listing for the motorists of this green and pleasant land.

Am I white?

... I mean "right"!

Maybe he might be suggesting Ethanol style biofuels, which are much cheaper than petrol and better for the environment.

They're only cheaper because they haven't got around to taxing the life out of them yet. They won't be cheap when we all need them.
