Any Civic owners know how to remove light cluster?
Discussion
Anyone here know how to remove the light cluster from a new shape Civic? (ie. an 02 reg) - after a rear-end shunt and repair the passenger side light cluster is intermitently playing up (the brake light stops working, indicator is dim, reverse light flashes with indicator etc..)
The cluster appears to be full of condensation (dry on the other side) so I assume water in the electrics is the cause of the intermitent fault.
I've undone the 3 nuts accessible from the boot, but the cluster won't pull out - it seems to be fixed at the bottom somehow. Do I need to remove the bumper to get it out?
thanks
James

Thanks, I would check the earth but there's no obvious earth wire visible from inside the boot, which is why I want to remove the cluster to take a look at it. I think water inside is causing the problem but I could connect another earth temporarily also to see if this helps.
Intermitent electrical faults are really hard to solve...

Tell me about it! I've got a few of my own on my Golf at the moment! (I think i've traced the latest one to a dodgy earth on the fuse box though)
