996 -Sports Sounding Exhaust on ebay? anyone know about it?

Would it sound like the PSE system?
Does it work on the same principal as the PSE?
Any problems with performance or ECU conflicts?

It is the same as the PSE system without the valves that open as the revs increase, so it will be a lot noiser at tick over and low revs, not sure if the small loss in back pressure at low revs will cause a drop in torque!!

Hi - had a quick look at this item myself and did a bit of research. The 'bypass' pipe goes from the unsilenced pipe (from the cat) directly to the exit pipe. On the PSE, the pipe is taken from the 2nd baffle in the silencer (there are 3 in total) so you get 'some' silencing before exiting. Also, the bypass pipe is also a very small bore, whereas the PSE 'extra pipe' bore is full size. It obviously doesn't have the valve switch either which is no big deal if you want it on all the time. If the bypass was exactly the same design (location/bore) as the PSE, then I would have bought them .. but I don't think it will produce the same sound or as previous mentioned could mess about with back pressure / torque...
