Latin Superstar who makes music

So, I suppose that in resemblance you are trying to say, that this fine lady is someone who you cannot keep your eyes off, the same as when you look at the motor, it shares the same passion.

If I am right, thanks.

If I am wrong, its Friday and I'm on shutdown mode.

Tedious link time.

In greek mythology, Thalia is a sea nymph, or 'Nereid'. 'Nereid' is also the name of the moon of Neptune, just as 'Europa' is one of the moons of Jupiter.

Am I close, of just a nerd? Perhaps you just liked the name Thalia.
Richard.

After seeing what Thalia looks like, I am sure that anyone looking at the picture would want to make music with her.

Should have known about greek myhthology, studied classics at gcse. (about 4 years ago)

Could it mean:

Copper flowers for indoor accent lighting and outdoor garden lighting such as this Twilight Twinkler's Thalia flowers. Each one is created by professional Sculptors utilizing copper techniques learned from the Masters in charge of the Statue of Liberty restoration. Custom designed and built by hand, made in the USA by Americans. Available in a multitude of sizes and configurations.

Creating garden art, outdoor lighting and indoor lighting which is taken to a new level of artistry using exotic woods, unique planters, stained glass, copper and more.

So in a way, it is a piece of masterart that is much desired when finished and each lotus represents the beautiful sculpture of this type of thalia.

I'll get my coat.

It is the most geeky reason in the world. I used to be a big fan of the batman books and Thalia was Ras'al Gouhl's daughter that married batman.

Yeah I know - very sad

Not as sad as a guy I worked with who actually named his daughter Daisy Lara. He fancied Daisy Duke and Lara Croft!!!

Not as sad as me! When I eventually become a dad, I've decided to call my daughter 'Elise'. And if I have a son I'll call him 'Mazda Bongo'.
Although if my wife gets a sniff of this email the chances of becoming a dad will be rather slim!

My daughter was going to be Thalia Elise. Mrs Gooby saw right through that.

Hurt for a week!

I will have to register the birth, then it will be done my way!

Until then the car is called Thalia.

A friend of mine named his daughter Jenna. His wife is still not aware that this was in honour of his favourite adult movie star, Jenna Jameson. I use the threat of revealing his secret to manipulate him all the time.

I had a girlfriend called Lise (that spelling). Don't think she was Danish though. Didn't look like Gooby's picture either. Had a girlfriend called Lisa as well - in retrospect she probably looked more like Neil Back than Thalia. Never made the connection (e)lise till now.

Actually this thread is bringing back awful memories . Well at least my taste has improved... The car I mean.

Mine (Elise that is) has been named 'Little Blue Thing' by the war department. I, on the other hand, call it "The mental car".
