Alert... tyre pressures

Hi all

just a note to say check you tyre pressures....

I am not a high miler and probably the last time I did check it was August... however the car felt a bit floaty so I popped into the garage..


Well the fronts had settled at 17 and the backs were close.... more air required.. thing is they didn't look flat or feel it on the side wall...

just a heads up guys thats all...car felt much better...


best bit was in Tesco.. pulling out from parking lane to main traffic it is a slight incline.. so gave it a few more revs... controlled back end slide into lane of traffic... so cool .. but so close to total dick !!

Very good point doddze, something which is overlooked regularly and makes one heck of a difference in handling.

Agreed, very good point. Took mine out for 1st time in 6 wks yesterday. Tyres were a touch low, battery totally flat. Having sorted those out, nice drive around and about with my 11 year old. Not sure who had the biggest grin...

Tyre pressures will naturally drop this time of year due to the temperatures, not down to 17 psi though!

what are the correct pressures chaps ?

I think it's 24 psi at the rear and 22 at the front
