I went to look at a Sagaris today and while getting in to the car I noticed the drivers door didn't seem to open fully.

Tried the passenger door and this maybe opened 4-6 inches further?

The drivers door seemed to go out so far then ping back by a few inches as if a rubber stopper wouldn't allow it any further.

I looked at the other 2 Sagaris and they were fine.

So my question is does anyone know of any adjustment that can be made to the door? The dealer wasn't sure either.

Hi mclark
Not sure exactly how far Sag doors are supposed to open, but with my car and the dealer demo, it seemed to be about 45 degrees max. In my case ,being 6ft and 15st it definately isn' far enough, but I heard its to stop the edge of the door fouling the pavement when parking up. My entry/exit is therefore not a pretty site, I tend to fall into the car and clamber out, not particularly dignified, but who cares! I'm not sure either, if my door " springs" 4 or 5 inches, I can't check right now as my Sag is getting its rear lens repaired due to misting, but I'll check on it's return.

Exit technique:
Door open, right elbow back onto flat behind door.
Legs out, lever upwards.
Thank Christ it worked and your back didn't give out, smile, take first step.
Fall flat on face due to gravel underfoot.

Works every time.

I think that the same is apparent on most other TVRs as well. It isn't something that is unique to the Sagaris, but you get used to it. Plenty of other benefits that make up for it.
