the cooling fans on my tusc wont switch off i presume its the temp sensor but where is it

Think they're controlled by the ECU (based on the coolant temp sender) rather than via a separate otter switch. If that's the case then it's probably just a sticky relay.

it's the tri-nomal switch or something like that. You should be able to pull a fuse to stop them in the short term before getting it to a dealer.

Had exactly the same problem on mine, sounds like its the sensor located in the head closest to the dash, that one sends the temp signal to the ECU and the ECU reacts accordingly, i.e turns the fans on. Also another symptom of this is that the engine when warm will often flood because there's no recognisable value being received from the sensor so it thinks it may be cold and throws fuel in as if starting from cold. Well i think that may be right.
