hunting ?

my car has developed a problem with idling it only does it when the car is warm it tries to cut out and sometimes it does cut out. this is quite embarassing as people think i am revving the engine boy racer stylee. i was told over the weekend this can be called hunting, how can i sort this out as it was running like a dream before i had the exhaust gaskets replaced and fitted a new air filter at the same time.please help, gary

It could be the TP.

Try unplugging it.

When you fitted the new air filter, are you sure you didn't knock the connections to the Air Flow Meters? These are the bits just behind the air filter. The wiring connectors may have been dislodged? Just a thought..

Wonder if that's why mine coughs a bit under hard acceleration.

How much do these work out then........maybe Mrs silverback can find me one to put in her stocking for xmas

it turned out the throttle switch was the problem it is going to be replaced this week. also my front right brake is making a terrible stink of burning rubber. happy days
