Hi guys,

One of the great benefits of digital photography is producing pictures of unusual proportions (eg, a tall thin picture 1000x8000 pixels). None of the high-street developers (as far as I know) can develop in those sizes. Do any of you guys know of a company that does that?

Hoping for a little help. Cheers.

Ok. I now know about all the forthcoming jousting demos and lessons worldwide. I even know how to get hold of an authentic looking fibreglass jousting lance. Isn't Google brilliant?

No luck, though.

Don't worry noisygriff you are a victim of a bit on in-forum banter here.

Joust the PH'er is a big big fan of Pixaco and will no doubt explain it better than me but basically they should do what you need - printing a long thin image.

Cheers for that. Fascinating stuff, though, jousting.

It looks like Pixaco centre your picture on a card big enough to cope with the largest dimension of the picture and then you crop the rest away. I might give that a try...
