Battery removal.

Cars at home with a flat battery and i`m at work hence the question.. What tools do i need to remove the battery so i can bring it to work to charge in the morning.

A torch, a grovelling mat and a 13mm ring spanner IIRC. And hope that the battery box bolts (which you access from beneath the car) are not seized!

Cheers guys.. I think it may be a bit easier on mine as the previous owner has cut the front of the battery box away to allow the battery to come out into the footwell.!!! I ask you.!!! So is it a 13mm clamp on battery post then ????Steve.

Yes, 13mm on battery post clamps.

And some silicon sealant to plaster around the bolts under the car after re-fitting the battery box...you don't want wet carpets do you!

Thanks guys, makes it easier when you have the answers before you start. Battery now on charge.............. Been really busy last couple of weeks and we have neglected the poor girl. I think we can forgive her a flat battery. I feel an accumate coming on
