Was re-reading the Bugatti Veyron stuff in this mag. Who's was the blue cerb reg (T211 ACU) that came second for cars under 20K ? I think it really suprised the writers ! It looks belting next to the dull m5 that won.

They should have tried a Chim obviously .....

They should have used a red one, it would have one then.

And I know of one going for under £14K let alone £20K.

Yup, that was our Cerb. They were very surprised and impressed with the car, which was nice

Well MrsBC, you seem to have a bute there. Must be nice to see your p&j described in such glowing terms in such a quality mag.

did you ever investigate the EVO concern re your lack of power or do you put that down to the press cars being fitter than avg?

Thank you Although it's his really, not mine. I've got a much nicer model, and it sounds better too

No, we didn't. We did have it on a rolling road a few months previously, I can't remember the figures (Chris will remember) and it didn't seem to be significantly better or worse than other Cerberas there that day (although down on the TVR quoted figure though ) It's certainly got more than enough power than we know what to do with.

Presumably, with their experience the guys at EVO realise that it doesn't have the quoted bhp, but I'm guessing that they'd feel that on 'most' Cerberas (she says, trying not to open up the bhp debate again )

Perhaps we'll take a closer look at some point, but there's more pressing things right now, like getting the Nitrons sorted and stopping the brakes from squealing !
