why is it that printers just arent designed properly. surely it is common sense that a piece of paper should be pulled through slot either by its middle or by 2 rollers, isnt it? my printer is only 10 months old, still on its first set of cartridges but its success rate for actually putting out a properly printed bit of paper is about 15%
it always either pulls the paper through at an angle so that the page is printed at an angle or it doesnt pull the paper through enough, so that the top is cut off.

is there anyway i can fix this problem by using something to clean the roller so that it actually pulls the paper through correctly?

cheers for the help.

If the rollers have got a smooth greyish appearence to them, you could try scraping the surface (dont cut into it) with a knife untill they go black & feel grippy again.

Find one of those hard erasers, the grey gritty ones, run the paperfeed with it pushed against the rollers for a few min, should give it a bit more grip/pickup.
