4.5 or 5.0?

I'm currently on the lookout for a 4.5 or 5.0 chimaera and can't decide which to go for. Had a 4.0Hc before, but now fancy one a bit quicker. I hav'nt had chance to drive either yet and was hoping for some advice before I travel up from cornland to look at a few! Is the 5.0 much quicker than the 4.5, and is the 4.5 much quicker than the 4.0Hc? I've seen the book speeds but they tend to vary on different sites and I'm not convinced at their accuracy.

Do a quick search, there's masses on this.

In my experience the 500 is the only one to have. But, a good 450 will be better than a crap 500!

The 450 and 4.0 are fairly compatable generaly running the same heads etc... the 500 is a toataly different beast running big valve heads etc.. and generally make around a good 60-70 bhp more
