A steering wheel control unit costs ? ? ? Had the stupid steering wheel button for ages and the car hasn't done much due to my slave driver of a wife making me do DIY instead of fixing my beast........ !

I have replaced ALL cables leading up to the box and still have the same problem so that's all there is left to change, any price quotes and places to buy much apprecitated

I don't know anybody close by with a Cerby, and it's a bugger to get to.... it is a whole take the car to pieces to get at it

But if anybody fancies lending me theirs for a day or two that would also be much appreciated

Is it not just underthe dash? I did mine in 10mins!

Why not take your to an electronics bod? Its have a few relays in there so it may just be one of those gone?

Had mine done 6 weeks ago. £36 from breaker delivered next day. £120 from TVR with 5 week delivery.

It was a no brainer

Thats true, I have used them they are very good. You can even send it back if it doesnt work, fix the problem.

Unscrew and remove the 13mm nut locating the Air-con icing thermostat
Unhook the air-con and heater pipes.
Remove the two wing-nuts left and right of the lower binacle cover(or in my case a rounded-off 10mm nut).
Remove the cover.
Invert yourself head first into the footwell and the unit is stuck to the nearest solid object with a velcro patch.

Job done !

120 notes..... good god..... I got quoted £250 quid yesterday + VAT and that wasn't from TVR..... JESUS, I can't help but feel that someone is trying to empty my bank account here and it's not my wife....... for a change!!!

Death Race : I have located the box, it is currently living at the highest most awkward place under my dash, I wish it was velcro'd in, but some smart arse thought it would be funny to screw it on up there... oh well more parts coming off the dash board then

I got it from Douglas Valley found them on the Net and 6 weeks ago they had 3 in stock, good luck
