I thought of one before modding the 993 - the huge price of parts put me off. I think many are bespoke? Adam should be able to tell us more

They are a wonderful thing, I vividly remember my 4 laps in with Adam round the mini track circuit at Brunters. Amazing

Well thank f**k for that! For a minute there I thought you had posted up an ad for one for sale, instead you posted up a page and pic of a God awful monstrosity of an ugly car. RUF managed to do 2 damn nr impossible things with the CTR2...make a 993 look dog ugly and make a sequel to the CTR look thoroughly unappealing. Nope sorry, you can keep the CTR2, cant stand the thing.

Well, I would really like a BTR conversion on a narrow-bodied 993, but somehow retaining the electric spoiler (and the stock 993 appearance) - so it would look very subtle, but go like ...

Hi buddy,

not very often at all, I think demand for them is very high and the only ones that "sit" are ones that have been smashed and rebuilt.

There were 4 available in the last year or so to my knowledge.

Black car at Auto-Salon Singen - crashed and rebuilt as a widebody - who knows why they thought that was a good idea?

Green car rebuilt by Roock and being sold by Roock (again why use someone other than Ruf, destroys the provenance)

Yellow CTR conversion ie not a RUF VIN - in Scandanavia, questionable car.

White CTR in Japan - 100% pukka car through Ruf Japan, price reflected this.
