Lived in Sussex all my life, but I know better driving roads all over the country!!

Can anyone recommend any?

Heard the A272 mentioned a lot, it's a good road, but I've never ever seen it without huge ammounts of traffic.

Drove the A272 today from Midhurst to near to Haywards Heath - excellent road, not much traffic this afternoon and great scenery. Throughly recommended.

If you had made it as far as Haywards Heath I might have seen you!

I usually take the A272 to Maresfield (near Uckfield) and then up on to Ashdown Forest for some beautiful scenery at a more leisurely pace!

Saw a very loud TVR Cerbera and a not so loud Tuscan (I think) both in black as I went to the bank in HH today!

There's quite a few Tivs in and around Haywards Heath. I'm hardly ever driving mine when I see them though!

West Sussex - would also recommend the A29 Northbound from Pulborough to the junction of the A24 - some lovely villages, good road stretches.

A272 Haywards Heath to Petersfield good on a summers evening - tends to be popular with bikes on the Thursday.
Watch out for the small bridge, it allows all 4 wheels to leave the ground!
