Caffine intake Bad??

What is considered a bad caffine intake? Recently due to work pressures I have given up my No Caffine rule and have found myself drinking a lot of Caffine, Red Bulls and Coffee.

I was told more than 3 cups is bad for you, I have about 8 without it I would be asleep esp around the 2pm lull after lunch, horrah for legal stimulants!!

Nope not a smoker, but I went with 1 cup yesterday and fell asleep on the train. Found woke up near Horsham! I'll cut down after Christmas.

It says in small print on the side of a red bull how many cans in a day is not recommended to exceed 5 or 6 or something.

Rather than increase the caffeine, I'd throttle back on the heroin to be honest...

If you drink a can of red bull every 30 minutes after 6 hours your body stops processing it and it comes out as it went in.

Mixmag years ago set out to do this for 24 hours and after 9 or so the effects on the body were quite brutal.

caffeine irriates the bladder? It shouldn't get anywhere near your bladder I'd have thought. It is a diuretic though.

the lowest known lethal dose of caffeine is 4.5g which was injected intravenously.

Caffeine is never a bad thing..Without it none of my work would ever be handed in and I wouldn't be sitting here at the pooter either.

Its natures way of saying that everything is going to be ok...

Caffeine is addictive. I don't drink tea or coffee, and I can stay awake all day. LAY OFF OF IT!

AFAIK 1 can of Red Bull == 1 cup of reasonably strong coffee.
It's all the other stimulants in there than mess you up.

Still, it pays for the Air Racing, F1 Team, Parachute Team
and lord knows what else, so it's OK by me.

There is no other stimulant in Red Bull. It has Taurine, but all that does is help your body "process" caffeine faster, so it hits quicker and harder, but its not a stimulant in itself.
