I have the Lotus Motorsport adjustable suspension and anti-roll bar on my Honda engined S1.

I've done about 11000 miles now, and just had some adjustments made. I found that the front suspension seemed to have settled. The adjusters themselves had not moved, but the car was riding lower than before. We wound it back up to where it should be (about 11cm).
has anyone else had their car settle like this, over a few thousand miles?

The anti-roll bar was on its softest setting, so we moved it up a notch, the car seems better balanced. A friend with the same suspension has his set on the third (middle) notch and says that his car tends to understeer a bit.

So which ARB setting do people generally use for road or for track?

Yes, myself and a guy I know, both of us use Nitron dampers and springs, both have noticed a slight reduction in ride height following a few thousand miles.

I cornerweighted the car following installation and again following the next time we set it up, it had changed, however repeating this process again recently showed he car was as it had been the second time we measured it.

I'm not sure I understand why this happens but you are not alone . . .

Curious to know how the Nitrons perform on the road/track compared to the standard fair, as fitted to a S1 111S.

My own car is being breathed on by TT to get somewhere IRO of 225bhp, so a suspension upgrade is also in the running. The same with ARB's worth upgrading to a stiffer ARB with nylon bushes?

Want I do not want to do is sacrifice the B road holding for all out track driving, both of which I do, so I am looking for a happy compromise. Have been put off the Leda's as they seem to need all too frequent rebuilds, something confirmed to me by another TT convert who ran them.

Coimg from N Wales orginally I still enjoy the blasts around the B roads in that neck of the woods.

Comments from current runners of Nitron's would be welcome.

Polyurethane bushes may do better, theyre slightly compliant but no where near like that of rubber.
I think nylon will be too hard, itll transfer lots of noise and dosent wear too well once it gets caked in grit.
