Hi Guys,

I have done a search through the various posts on sealing the exhaust and I think I am going to give the high temp RTV silicone a go.

I have only been able to find RTV silicone that is good up to 300 degrees C. Is this the stuff to use or did anyone find a version that is even more temperature resistant?

Thanks,

Ralph

I just asked for the high temp stuff. Then because of the bad fitting methods of the S exhaust, I clamped some thin metal tubing over the joins covered in RTV (just like an exhaust repair). The only way to be absolutely sure you get a good seal.
