Hi, I'm new to the forum, and have a MY2003 2.7 Boxster due for delivery in a couple of weeks. I've gone for a few 'toys':
- 17" wheels
- sports pack
- crested headrests
- air con
- OBC
- Sound pack
- CD Autochanger
- Heated seats
- wind deflector

However, after spec'ing I tried to add Litronic lights but was too late. Has anyone added them after delivery? If so, how much did it cost and do you think it's worth it? (I drive on a lot of country roads in the dark).

Cheers

My 2.7 is due for delivery in March (with a bit of luck). I have specified Litronics.

As far as fitting aftermarket "litronics", I am aware you can get them, although you may have to import them from USA, as I have not heard of them being available over here. Cost wise, I am not sure, however, with aftermarket lights, you do not get the headlamp leveling (So you may upset other drivers) or headlamp washers.

Try E-Bay, they normally have them for sale.

£626 option
why not just wait untill you get another new one in 2 years or so!
won't your dealer fit them before you take delivery in their workshop
Have you explained your situation to your dealer as they may be able to help

What spec have you gone for and is a tip or man box

Thanks for the replies guys. Didn't realise I wouldn't get the levelling rewster so may give it a miss.

MightyDQ, split my spec into:
Must haves:, 17" wheels (the new ones, which look great and are also lighter), AirCon, heated seats, wind deflector, and a few nice to haves: sports pack, sound pack, OBC, CD etc. Put the total price just under 37k.

I've gone for the manual box.

Cheers

I don't know if its european or just german law, but if you have the litronic lights then these HAVE to be self-levelling and have auto washing.
