Hi All,
Early this year there was a very successful dyno day in Surrey.
Well, next year I am organising a similar day at Race Shack in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.
Plan is Saturday 25th March a maximum of 8 cars on the rolling road starting at 9:30 a.m. and finishing at 4:30 p.m.
Cost is £80 inc VAT per car.
Be warned this is not your average dyno it will depress you as it will tell you the actual figures your car is putting on the road and it is extremely accurate.
Please let me know if you are interested....first come first served, if there are more than 8 cars then we can either extend the day or arrange 2 Saturdays.

went to watch a couple of friends cars on the dyno in the summer at www.raceshack.co.uk/ its a great place, loads of room to park and everyone can view inside, unlike most other dyno places you can even drive your own car ! (well you could the day I went)
Things were well organised, the car is reversed up onto a lift, which go's up about 5ft, you reverse up again and your rear wheels are on a massive 4ft diameter drum which runs the dyno,
Time was taken to make sure the cars was tied down correctly, fans and exhaust fumes removal device were positioned before starting.
There was a ground clearance issue on/off the lift, but was overcome with the usual blocks of wood
quite an impressive place
Nigel, me and Baz are also thinking of organising a dyno day early next year, there's a new place near brum that has the UK's only 'Dynometer' the one the big US tuners install and recommend

Sounds like a good excuess to meet some people from the forum.
When where you thinking ??
A Saturday in March would be the plan, they are free at the moment but obviously we need to decide which Saturday suits best, probably the weekend of Cheltenham Gold Cup meeting would be a bad idea which is usualy the second weekend so 1st/3rd/4th Saturday would be best.
Vixpy's place would be good for you Eastern boys/girls, but us Westerners are going for Tewkesbury 'cos it's near!
Totally agree with Viper the Raceshack place has great parking out front is nice and clean and yes you will get to drive your own car flat out on the dyno and best of all there is tea, coffee and CUPS!
Oh and they have a coffee bar where you can sit and watch the action.
