Just bought today a 2004 Maserati Coupe but frankly am slightly underwhelmed with sound of stock exhaust.

Other aural soundtracks in my current toy collection include a Griff 500 (extensively modified and with custom exhaust) and a stock X5 4.6S

Tubi seems an obvious route and I've previously dealt with Manu at Scuderia when I put one of his excellent products on a 355 GTB - results were fantastic.

The main dealer I'm buying the Maser from is however concerned about the impact of an aftermarket exhaust on any potential Maser factory warranty claims.

So three questions -:

1) Will an after market exhaust significantly improve the sound on a Maser?
2) If so,which product is the best?
3) Has anybody here experienced any warranty related issues as a result of fitting an after market exhaust?

any help much appreciated.

My next door neighbour has a Tubi on his Gransport and it sounds just gorgeous. In terms of warranty, I'm of the same view as 15hn on this thread, the best I've seen on the subject-

Bluesatin had a tubi on his 4200. Sounded great. Don't think there was a warranty issue as prior to selling the car he was looking at extending it.

Picking up the Maser ( with Tubi fitted ) tomorrow and am looking forward to hearing it.

Took the Griff for a hoon today so my standards have been set pretty high

Good luck- you will love it but don't listen to a word Manu says or he will change the cross over. If you here anybody who wants a second hand tubi let me know

Quick update.I'm very pleased with the car although still perfecting the paddle shift upchange Also pleased with the Tubi exhaust and expect the sound to continue to improve as this cokes up.

bluesatin,

If I post a drive by sound track they will be beating your door down for your Tubi

Different part of the orchestra than my Griff's V8 but pure F1 in 3rd and 6000 revs!
