Lotus owner, define your ideal car...
Discussion
I work on a sports car and I need some information on what the future owner and driver want.
Our car will be a very lightweight sportscar of 650kg for 230hp turbo, with a design like a Lotus 340R or caterham.
Carbon chassis, pushrod and rocker suspension (like in F1), 2L turbo engine, 6 speed gear box....
Please give me your opinion on what you want in this kind of car, the questionary is very simple and quick to answer and we will select some lucky participant for the first test of our car (and before the first presentation in september 2006).

Thanks a lot for your help.

If it's got a carbon chassis, I'd be expecting a bit less than 650kgs as that's only 70 or kgs lighter than my S1 and pretty much the same as a 340R.
Push-rod suspension is all very well and may be used in F1 but if it's not well designed, well built and good at it's job then it's not worth it.
Not trying to be negative - I think what you're doing is great although given the options at the end of the survey, I'd have a secondhand 340R over them all.
