I have quick question re license upgrading.

I currently have a National A race license. I want to upgrade to an international c.

I have 3 signatures on my national A license. You need 6 to upgrade. However I also have at least 3 unused ones on my national B ones that weren’t used during the upgrade to national A.

Will they allow this? I don’t want to go and pay for the medical and then have it turned down!

Cheers
Pete

Cheers guys, I have already read those regs and I am still not sure. It seems as if it will be ok but I'm not convinced. I think I will ring them and check!

Sorry for not noticing my spelling error Eric. You prick.

Hi James,

Just thought I would get one when I can really.

I intend to sell my Delta, as I am hopefully moving out to Australia with my girlfreind next year (she's an Aussie) and from then on It would be much more difficult to get signatures to upgrade!

How are you?

I can't abide name calling.

I'm doing well today - I've already been called names by two PHers.

Maybe we should start a "Name calling" and "General Insult" thread where we can all slag each other off and be generally rude and offensive to each other.

Up to now, PH has been generally well behaved.

Regarding the great "Licence/License" debate - I have taken it upon myself to highlight this "error" wherever I see it in the vain hope that I might save the "Licence" version from oblivion. I am minded to do the same with "Programme/Program" too.

And I won't be reverting to name calling either.

Well maybe you should worry about more things than the fact that my spell check happens to use american english.

'I wont resort to name calling' for heavens sake get off your high horse and grow up. I asked a sensible question and you replied with something that was completely useless. well done.

Rgds.

I'm just trying to save the English language. It's a noble cause I would have thought.

the question is eric? does it matter how it is spelt? really? in the grand scale of things, is how the english spell the word "licence" really enough to launch a one man crusade? is there nothing more deserving you time could be spent on? i wouldnt resort to name calling, baiting is far more fun

I really do get quite angry about the creeping Americanisation of our spelling - that's all. From what I can see here, LICENSE is now the normal way of spelling LICENCE - which is pity (and I do know we use LICENSE in the UK as the verb form of the word - a handy distinction in my opinion).

PROGRAMME will be the next word to disappear followed by COLOUR, DEFENCE etc etc etc.

I probably am making a futile stand.
