Yeah, still going to have the place down here though, just going to commute up there during the week. Was playing around with the idea of flying up there very day, but think that is going to be too tiring....

Anyhow, so will still be down in good old Portsmouth for the weekends. Now just need to sort out a second car.. one for down here and the other for up there. Or maybe drive up and down every weekend.

If going out in the Toon, the Quayside is one of the best places to drink.
On the living front Jesmond is one of the safer places.
When you are up their, just ask your work mates - they should keep you right and out of Benwell. Hexham (about 15 miles north) is also v.nice but pricey (for the North).
For a very 'interesting' night out - wear a Sunderland shirt - always gets you noticed

Hey Jagsy, working in the city somewhere, no idea where.

Would love to buy house, but banks here don't like Australian's cause they think that we are all dodgy. OK, well, maybe, but we aren't all backpakers and buggar off with huge debts.

You got a garden shed you want to let? Be happy living in it as long as there is heating... especially up there..

Geordie, heard that term alot... what does it mean?

Is it like "Banna Benders" to describe Queenslanders?

That is definately not advisable.

You might even get to try the local drink ' a bottle of broon'.

How are you getting on dude?

Have you found accomodation?

Are you warm enough?

Do you need any guided tours of the bars?
