Can't get in

Can anybody help? After sunny months of summer enjoying my Cerbera I've left it in the garage and the battery has gone flat over 5 weeks. Now I can't get in and do not seem to have access to the battery. This must be a common problem as all switches are electric. How do I gain access to either charge the battery or open the bonnet to change it.

I also have a probloem where power steering has stopped working. Fluid levels are fine, are there any common failure modes.

Chris, you may struggle to get an answer as to how to gain entry in to a locked Cerb, as this is your first post & you've only joined today.

Where did you get the car from ?

Notice you are in Hants. Are you a member of the TVRCC? If so do you know any of the local guys?

How do you know your power steering has failed if you cant get in / battery flat???
Could either be the steering rack or the pump. Both expensive in terms of parts and labour. rebuilt pump = £460 from TVR.

Yeh, it's best to ease us in gently with A "why is the clutch pedal going straight to the floor" or "why have the buttons on the steering wheel stopped working" first

Appreciate reluctance of all to tell me the answer, car orignially came from David Hendry Malmesbury so I'll go there for the answer.

To establish ssome pedigree - Clutch pedal did go to the floor but can be adjusted by 8mm bolt and lock nut on the pedal.

I had a power steering failure, you can read all about it here. It turned out to be expensive...
