Last night I had two separate TV/DVD/Satellite combo's to connect.
What really p#sses me off is the amount of cables to connect everything together.
I can understand long power cables, but why are co-ax and Scart leads so long? Three Scart cables, each 1.5m long to connect three appliances 30cm apart?!
Does anybody who designs these systems actually watch TV, all that cabling needs to be rammed in the corner behind the TV - looks like a dogs dinner!

Does anyone have any ideas (short of getting rid of the TV!) to keep things neat?

My blood is boiling!

Why not use 0.5m SCARTS?

I needed 2M scarts to connect my kit. As Plotty says, buy shorter ones

Connect the aerial cable straight to the telly , and ditch the rest. That'll solve your problem. No point buying units then moan about cables, unless you buy a cabinet with a back compartment for cables and make sure AV cables are not mixed with power cables to avoid interference.
