Printing black & white when colour ink is out

Just trying to print a black only (no greyscales) document, only the damn thing (an Epson photo R200) is saying it can't because it is out of light cyan ink. What the f? It won't work regardless of ticking or not ticking the "greyscale" option in the printer prefs.

Any tricks for getting around this? The shops are closed so going out to buy a new catridge isn't an option.
