I've done it, now to insure it. Who do you use to insure your ferrari and what limitations, milage etc, do they impose? What constitutes a good deal for a 36 year old with full no claims, garaged etc?

My 348 is around £490 for a 3000 mile 25k agreed value policy. Garaged, 2nd car etc. (no NCB required). I'm 33 BTW. Quoted by Aon.

Edited to add: Congratulations!!

What do you mean by no NCD required??
Would you have paid that no matter what your NCD is on your first car.
I'm always under the impression that if your insuring two cars, then its always best to use the NCD On the most expensive one

It's a second car policy. They reckon that any NCB you have will be tied up on your daily driver.
With this 'modern classic' policy you don't earn, or require any NCB - so yes, I could have zero or 20 years on my other car and it would still be £490 for the Ferrari. I think it's reasonable enough.

I have had a company car for about five years so any NCB I had has probably withered away anyway..

I have used AON for the last 8 years for my 308GTB.
3000 Mile Limit, fully comp & Agreed Value has always come in at around the GBP 300.00 mark (whether my address was in Hackney, East London or Billericay, Essex). I have had points on my licence during this time but these didn't seem to make much difference. Obviously the car has to be garaged when at home.
