Hi Guys,

I saw a new Tamora the other day with manual "pump up" type lumbar supports fitted. They looked exactly the same as the ones that are fitted standard in the Tuscan and Cerbera. They had a long black tube that came out the seatback with a black rubber hand pump on the end.

When I got my car, manual lumbar supports were supposed to be standard but were never fitted. Electric ones were about a £350 option.

Anyone know if the latest Tamora’s are now having them fitted as standard ?

Cheers,
Nick

I don't know, Nick, but I'm getting a little fed up of these new bits getting put on, less than a year after I bought mine. I intend to have a word at the factory when I (finally!!) take it for it's service in January.

Especially as manual lumbar supports have ALWAYS been standard equipment according to the TVR website!
Along with kick plates!

I did get my kick plates in the end.
If you have not got them chase up your delaer or the factory.

I'm digging for info on the Lumbar supports and I'll keep you posted.

Cheers,
Nick

Frustrating to say the least ....

When I ordered mine my dealer thought the pump-up system was standard until we checked a car and found it wasn't fitted. The only reason I paid for the electric version was because the seats felt far better with lumbar support and it appeared as if their spec sheets were wrong
