i got one a few years ago. have not actually raced though. anyone know if the license expires or i need a new medical or whatever...

If its less than 5 yrs since you passed your test you should be ok to apply to MSA for a new one. More than 5 yrs you have to do it all again.

Expiry of the licence is automatic after 5 years unless you have ever owned a higher licence (ie NatA entitles you to NatB indefinitely although a bit of confusion there as it used to be just 5 years as well). In terms of a medical it would only be necessary if it has expired or if you are 45 or over. An ARDS test would again be necessary if the license has expired (and that is the really annoying bit as they are somewhat more expensive now and similarly easier to fail).
