Memory Stick Insanity....

I bought a 512mb USB flash disk / memory stick...
It is supposed to be plug and play - computer says no..

Whatever USB I put it in it says "USB device not recognized"

I can't seem to get a driver off the disk - although driver update says I have the best driver anyway... running out of ideas.... any suggestions ??

Well there goes the easy solution.

If it doesnt work anywhere, I'd be inclined to think it was knackered to be honest...

Are you plugging it in directly to the computer USB socket, or going through a hub of some kind?

I would try it in a different pc. If it don't work then it does be busted.
