I am sorry BUT 53K fault free miles in any car is stretching it but a TVR.....
I guess he means NOT rebuilt.

Not necessarily......I had a 42000 mile 4.5 Cerbera that had only had a fan themrostat go wrong.

I posted the topic on the latter, since there have been discussions in the SP6 area where people say they would be happy if it lasted 25k between rebuilds!

I find that confusing. Are you sure you arent recalling history in a favourable fashion? No clutch , starter, suspension, air con, wheels, temp sensors, lx, etc probs!!! That must be the only one.

I was looking to see what the lowest price point was for SP6 TVR's, discovered about 19k on PH. Decided to have a look in Autotrader to compare and discovered that car.
Should have thought about being a possible AJP6 car, after all I did drive 500 miles that day to hear Al's talk,

Not quite as impressive, but one of Castle's customers has a T350 with 24000 miles on it with zero engine issues - still running fine as daily driver.

Nope, Fernhurst were of the opinion that it was one of the best and smoothest running Cerberas they had ever ha through their workshop. No other minor niggles probably because it was used daily. Nothing went wrong whilst being used (except the afore mentioned fan swx) however wear and tear meant things replaced at services such as tyres, cvs etc. Aircon was rather asthmatic though!!!

One thing you should know by now, all these mechanics are always saying "shes better than most", "one of the best runners", "definitely got more poke than standard", "built very well" etc etc etc oh and yes the old "they all do that sir".... I guess its just standard lingo now......
