Oil pressure show very low. 0 PSI, rising to 5 or 6 when revving.

Should I accept that is probably a dodgy sensor. Oil level is fine (checked with correct procedure).

Questions are:

1. Oil red light is showing. Is that a separate measurement?

2. When warmed up, outside temp about 9deg C, the water temp is about 84, but oil temp is ahowing at about 67!! What is going on?

Would like to believe my engine is hyper-efficient, so glisteningly friction-free that the oil doesn't heat up, but I think probably not.

Anyone proffer any further things to check or do?

Errrr - Its probably the sensor but get in trailered to a dealer to check it out. The time and effort is less than the cost of a new engine !
