GTR on XBox3

Kids got Project Gotham Racing for their new Xbox3 the other day. It has a GTR in it. The quality of the graphics and detail is awesome, down to the wheel design and rivets, dash layout etc, almost photographic, well impressed.

my daughters boyfriend received his 360 at the weekend and has been a red gtr ever since (because red is the fastest - gaz! ). Graphics and sounds are reported to be stunning.

They are very quick but nah !!!

Painted GTR's colour Ferrari F1 Rosso are definately quickest, its the secret to world record pace

It would be great if you can add the Ultima GTR640 or higher in there. I use the regular GTR but I can't keep pace with the Ferrari Enzo.

The thing is, you have to play to the GTRs strengths (even with 'only' 500hp). The GTR has stonking amounts of torque so you can really fire out of the corners. If you lose pace in the Enzo etc. you have to get the revs up before it gets going again.

The racing adage of 'slow in, fast out' is totally applicable to the GTR physics model in PGR3.

Do any of you use a racing wheel on your XBOX360? If so...which one. I just can't get the hang of those controllers. All three of my kids give me a beating in any game we play.

P.S. Yellow and Red may be faster but Black....now that just looks good sitting still!

Couldn't agree more, especially Anthracite Metallic Black like mine (Normal GelCoat black is too!)

thats the problem with black ...... they 'always' look like they are sitting still

Don't know if Silver Metallic is fastest yet, but will look darn good in any mode!

Hey Brad. Logitech are doing one but I don't think it's in the shops yet (in the UK at least). Like you, I prefer a wheel in my hands
