I've just purchased the full street level detailed maps of Europe. Anyone know what size SD card i'll need to get the lot on my PDA?

Holy cow - you bought all of it!

Rule of thumb is 2 large countries (ie France, Italy, UK, Germany) per 512MB SD card I find.

Thanks for this. It doesn't say on the CDs which countries are on what disc they are just numbered 1 to 6. You don't know which is on what disc do you?

I think during the install process you nominate the country, then it prompts to show the disc number.

once you have installed a map to you SD card rather than deleting it when you need more space, copy it to your PC as you can copy it directly back when needed without having to re-install from CD. It is also quicker as well....

I've currently got GB plus (which also covers the Major roads of europe as well as the full GB) and France on my SD card.

I've already got a spare 128Mb card which i'm going to use for GB. I'm then going to get a 1Gb card and put all of continental Europe on it.
