Washer Bottle

Does anyone know what car the washer bottle originaly came from,as fitted to a late(2000) griff please.The cap never did fit well on mine,and now i've noticed it's finally gone for good,so i'd like to replace the whole thing.Cheers,Mike

Got a pic of it?. My '97 has a bottle from a VW Golf MK1 but others have said they have Fiesta ones.

Lost the cap off mine too - but it came back from a dealer service with a new one, so unsure of origin. Now its time to sort out the washer sprays. Seem to have blocked, and the bars are a bit kinked (166mph at Elvington had something to do with it). Got thro the MOT just, but told "don't bring it back like it nexy year"

Like the look of the Leven alternative - any experiences of these now they are in full production?

That's the same as mine which was from the Mk1 Golf. It has VDO stamped on the cap. Maybe worth trying a VW main dealer.

Fitted a pair of Leven wiper arms + wash jet thingies a couple of months ago, easypeasy and a massive improvement on the originals. Unlike before I now get more screenwash on the screen than on passers by......

Have also just fitted a Modwise boot release + boot light kit, another fantastic improvement for anybody using their car regularly. Works a treat.

You havent still got the old wiper arms have you Ruari?
And if you have, are they the ones which can be pulled apart in the middle. half plastic/half metal with the metal bit inserting into the plastic bit which then attaches to the drive shaft.
I've got the old Leven kit and have only been able to install the drivers side because the passenger side arm was replaced in the past with something non standard which doesn't come apart in the middle.
