I dont have the original manual/certificate that came with the Alarm for my 3R ... does anyone know how I prove to the insurer that the alarm is factory fitted/installed? (Simon ??)

Interesting they want proof - they've never asked me - always accepted it's a Thatcham Cat 1 approved factory fitted alarm (the comment usually is something like "well, it's bound to have a good alarm fitted sir..."!

As previously mentioned the factory should be willing to send you a note/email confirming the fitment against your build/VIN numbers.

Hi Mark,

All new Nobles are delivered with a certificate showing that the alarm has been installed. Please e-mail me and I will look into what we can do for you if the certificate has been misplaced.
